The Choir is at the heart of College life, with its regular routine of sung services in the Chapel, and frequent extra performances. Under the direction of the organ scholars and the director of music, the Choir’s primary task is to sing for the services of Choral Evensong on Wednesday and Sunday evenings and Holy Communion on Sunday mornings. It sings a wide range of music from the sixteenth century to the present day in the context of these services.

The Choir has also sung services elsewhere, most notably at Westminster Abbey, performed concerts and gone on tour to places such as New York, Paris and Milan. If you would like to join the choir, please contact the senior organ scholar, Paul Gordon (
