Social events

Throughout the year Welfare Officers run study sessions, sporting and pet therapy, and ParTeas - a staple of Corpus life, involving free healthy and unhealthy snack food alike.

Liberation officers also run events such as LBGTeas, film nights and craft sessions, advertised through the year.

Sexual health

All Welfare Officers can provide students with condoms and other sexual health supplies for free. These can be ordered online, in person, or picked up in the Old Court toilets in case of emergencies.

The reception desk at Mill Lane offers reduced price femindoms, lube and dental dams. CSU provides pregnancy tests and contraception for free.

The C-Card scheme entitles you to free condoms or dental dams. Your nearest sign-up point is Central Library. Find out more here.

General chats

Welfare Officers aren’t counsellors, but are happy to chat any time. They can officer advice, or point you towards other JCR officers or those in college who can help.

All communication is strictly confidential with the exception of extreme situations. You can get in touch through email, phone, or anonymously by leaving a note in pigeonholes.
